Ricardo Salinas challenges the SAT to a "rock, paper, scissors" over the debt

Ship in the spotlight.- After several years of doing everything possible to avoid paying taxes, Ricardo Salinas Pliego has issued a direct challenge to the SAT: settle his multimillion-dollar debt with a game of "rock, paper, scissors."

"It's only fair: a 'mismatch' or a 'rock, paper, scissors' to see if I pay them, or if they finally forgive me," clarified the owner of Elektra, after receiving yet another notification from the decentralized body.

Salinas Pliego is already looking to get a "21" in basketball.

Financial analysts do not know whether the proposal is a legal strategy by the businessman, or if he is actually considering paying, something that the hosts of Venga la Alegría have not been able to clarify either.

The proposal has not received an official response from the Tax Administration Service, whose officials, aware of the magnate's reputation for sleight of hand, are said to be reluctant to give in. However, rumor has it that they are preparing a counter-response by proposing "World Tourist" or a game of "UNO," taking advantage of the director's skill at playing board games with rules that no one understands.

The tax attorney exposes Salinas Pliego's lawsuits to avoid paying taxes.

"26 billion pesos only represent a third of the business group's debt," commented @GriselGaleanoMx . The @GobinoMX presented the 16 years that Grupo Salinas has been litigating to avoid payment. https://t.co/gRTIE9gi85 pic.twitter.com/ol3AuTxvs3

Some tax experts believe that if the transfer goes through, Uncle Richie will back out at the last minute, allowing the debt to continue accruing unpayable interest… not even with the broadcast rights to The Woman's Eye .

In case you missed it: Florinda Meza came out to clarify why she called Chespirito's children "defects," and it would have been better if she hadn't said anything at all.
